[Course Guide]

Course Outline:

This course is offered to undergraduate students participating in the PCP programme, as well as to Master’s level graduate students.  The aim is to train students to apply economic theory, econometric techniques and economic intuition to the analysis of real world economic problems. We put particular emphasis on the Japanese economy and Japanese financial market.  Students must have some backgrounds in macroeconomics, theories of money and banking and public finance.
